Useful tool, not an automatic final result

AI can help with concept development, image restoration, variations, source generation and selected technical tasks. It can make some stages faster, but the result still needs to be directed and judged carefully.

Generated material often contains problems with continuity, anatomy, perspective, lighting, texture or temporal stability. I treat it as source material and combine it with established VFX techniques rather than assuming the first generated result is ready for production.

Integration and quality control

Tracking, masking, colour management, grain, edges and final compositing are handled according to the needs of the shot. AI may create or repair one element, while the rest of the work remains a conventional visual-effects process.

I find this hybrid approach useful for visual development, archive-style images, background elements, restoration and work that benefits from rapid iteration. I also consider confidentiality, consistency and whether AI is actually the right tool for the task.
